Nightmare Before Christmas/Neca/6 inch

Neca's line of Nightmare Before Christmas figures launched in 2004 with the first wave of 4 figures. Instead of the normal release of a new wave of figures or new box set every 3 to 4 months Neca decided to release new waves to conincide with Halloween and Christmas to better support the line. The second year they also expanded into boxed sets with their first release being Jack vs. Oogie Boogie. The figures are generally 6 inches, but they are kept in scale with one another so some like the witch are much shorter and others like Mr. Oogie Boogie is much taller.

All of the figures released in the line are directly from the movie, except Pirate Jack Skellington, which is based off of his cameo appearance in James and the Giant Peach and Vampire Jack. Pirate Jack was an exclusive at San Diego Comic Con 2006 and Vampire Jack was an exclusive at San Diego Comic Con 2007.

Series 6 will be the last wave of figures to be released.

While Neca had prototypes for these figures shown, they won't be releasing them now that they have not renewed their license.
