Stream the new R.E.M. album Accelerate

While not quite as groundbreaking as the releases of Radiohead's Rainbow or NIN's of Ghosts I-IV, R.E.M. is releasing a streaming version of their new album Accelerate through iLike a week before their new album hits stores. While Radiohead and NIN were free of their record labels at the time, R.E.M. is still with EMI, so they are starting to move in the right direction. This is still a promotion for a more traditional release, but maybe someday soon we will see major labels start experimenting like Radiohead and NIN have.
