Sideshow releasing a kick ass 12" Clone Wars Obi-WanSubmitted by xequae on Mon, 2008-02-18 17:01.Sideshow has a preview of their next 12" Star Wars figure, this time featuring Obi-Wan decked out in clone armor from the upcoming Clone Wars cartoon. I have to say that he looks pretty kick ass in that costume. The exclusive version also comes with a small clone hologram. Priority ordering begins February 22nd at 10AM PDT. Hopefully with the clone armor done for Obi-Wan and The Clone Wars cartoons coming out this fall, we will see Sideshow finally release some clone troopers.

The movie will be the launching point for the new series which will premiere on Cartoon Network, followed by airings on TNT. While no running time is listed for the movie, the series episodes will run 30 minutes. Along with the announcement is an awesome documentary showing off quite a bit of animation from the series as well as the introduction of Asoka, Anakin's Padawan. Plus we'll get to see a lot more of General Grevious and Assaj Ventress. Head on over for the rest of the exciting details.
