Fall TV show Premier Dates

Fall is almost here and that means all our favorite shows should be starting up soon. So here is a list of premiers and for the shows I'll be catching this fall. While not a complete list, this should be some of the best shows coming this fall.

Buffy The Animated Series: A look at what might have been

At the end of the run of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, work began and creating an animated series featuring Buffy and her friends back in high school in Sunnydale fighting Vampires and Demons, but it never made it past the beginning stages, but now we can see what it would have been like. A 3 1/2 minute trailer for the series has hit YouTube. Looks like it would have been pretty cool and closer to the superior early seasons that the later ones.

Simpsons season 11 announced for October 7th

TVShowsOnDVD.com has news that Simpsons season 11 will be released on October 7th. No word yet on extras or packaging, but hopefully we'll know more soon. WooHoo!!

It's official: Michael Rosenbaum is leaving Smallville

Michael Rosenbaum had said that this would be his last season on Smallville and he has kept his word and won't be returning as Lex Luthor next season. Though a statement from the CW hints that we may see him again in some fashion, which would be great. In his place they are going to bring in Doomsday and an unnamed female villain. Well, hopefully we will see more of his great character as Lex in guest appearances and I'll be looking for him in his new endeavors.

Some new info about the Live Action Star Wars TV show

Collider.com is claiming to have some inside news on what to expect from the Live Action Star Wars TV series. The seasons are rumored to be about 12 episodes and have a darker feel. He is saying to expect something between Deadwood and Sopranos and it will be PG-13. The Skywalkers won't appear in the film and it will be mostly new characters with a few old characters. And he reaffirms that it is set between 3 and 4.
