BooksRobert Jordan's Successor chosenSubmitted by xequae on Wed, 2007-12-12 08:22.When I first started the Wheel of Time series in college I was drawn in to the amazing story and couldn't wait to start the next book. While I stopped reading at book 8, I was still waiting for the series to be finished so I could return to finish off the rest of the books. Then came the sad news of Robert Jordan's untimely death on September 16th after a long fight with a rare blood disease. At the time of his death he was getting ready to start work on the 12th and final book in the series.
