SDCC 2009: Some of my favorite things...

Not being able to attend SDCC, I have to live through others pics from the show, so these are some of my favorite things I've see so far from SDCC 2009.

Hello Kitty Stormtrooper

Sideshow decided to have some fun and dressed up stormtroopers as various characters with this one being my favorite. Head on over to MWC Toys for the rest of the pics.

Battlecat

I wasn't really into He-Man classics at first, but as I've see more and more of them they seem pretty cool. But Battle Cat is just awesome looking. More pics of Battle Cat and all the rest can be found at Toynewsi.com

Roberto

While probably not most people's definition of awesome, Roberto is one of my favorite minor characters on Futurama and he is the next build-a-figure from Toynami's line. Check out figures.com's coverage for the upcoming Professor, Hermes, Mom and Chef Bender.

Robotech Battlepod

Toynami has done an awesome job on their Masterpiece Robotech Veritech's but until now they have had no enemies to fight, so it is great to see they are releasing a Battlepod and hopefully more to follow. Figures.com has some more Robotech coolness in their picture gallery.

Grand Admiral Thrawn's Throne and Cobra Commander's Throne

I liked the Thrawn books, but he has never been my favorite character, so when I first heard Sideshow was going to make him, I was interested, but he wasn't at the top of my list. But the throne he comes with is pretty bad ass. You can order Grand Admiral Thrawn and his Throne over at Sideshow, but he is going to cost you coming at $224.99.
